Rent Score output terms

By using our service, you accept the following terms governing your Rentscore evaluation report.

Last updated 1 April 2026

Purpose of your Rentscore evaluation report

Our Rentscore evaluation report aims to help you:

  • make a reasoned and informed decision on a tenancy agreement;
  • make an informed decision on a reasonable risk allowance to incorporate into any agreement;
  • take into consideration the significance (and costs) of any repairs the property may need, based on historic findings from a professional report (landlord's report);
  • consider what further professional advice (and consultation) is required before committing to a contract; and
  • introduce some rational perspective to an emotional process, especially for landlords and tenants.

Basis of our evaluations

Our evaluations are based on the information supplied to us on our site/platform. Our evaluations are desktop assessments aimed to assist all parties to a property rental, and are therefore not a substitute for the necessary in-person interview between a landlord and tenant.

As our analysis is a desktop assessment, it does not take into consideration any specific or nuanced rental history matters offered by either party. Our evaluation does not take into consideration any adverse comments or recommendations which may be contained outside the information supplied to our platform.

Scope of these terms

Any additional services we provide that are not covered by a separate contract are, by default, covered by the terms and conditions herein.

Complaints

If you want to complain about the service, please refer to the complaints procedure on our platform or site.
